Student Government is one of the longest-standing organizations at Truman, with a history spanning over a century. We strive to have a body with perspectives as varied as the student population we represent. Our senators come from all majors, nationalities, religions, and ideologies because this is the best way we can accomplish our common goal: improve the student experience at Truman. We seek to bridge the gap between administration and the student body, promoting a campus where all voices are heard. This organization fosters those who want to become leaders, providing hands-on opportunities to gain experience advocating for causes, organizing events, and serving other students.
Through Student Government, senators will gain direct access to administrators and others who have the power to enact change. Meetings occur once a week on Sundays at 5pm in the SUB Conference Room on the upper floor and are open to the public. We welcome anyone who would like to contribute their perspective to the items on our weekly agendas!
